Our accommodation meets MTA (Malta Tourism Authority) Standards. Students will be given a Malta map on arrival free of charge together with a bus schedule. Transport to and from the airport can be arranged for €35 per person both ways.

The Allegro Hotel
The Allegro Hotel is excellently located in the heart of St Julians. It is a great three star hotel, excellently located within walking distance from the beach. It has its own private pool, breakfast area, free wifi and is close to lots of restaurants and dining places. Near Paceville yet in a quiet street this hotel offers the best for language students. The hotel is around 30 minutes by bus from the school and the bus stop is right round the corner. Discounts are granted to those booking the accommodation and the language course. When making a reservation please inform the hotel that you are also booking a language course at School of English Malta. Sonia or Mark will be more than happy to assist. Staying with a family
Here are some tips
You must be 16 years or over.
Check in and check out is flexible.
Meals are included as follows: Breakfast, packed lunch and dinner
Gluten free or vegetarian meals are available on request at an extra charge of Euro 5 per day.
Most families offer free wifi.
Each room has a comfortable bed, bedside table, wardrobe and you might be asked to share a room with another student of the same sex unless you book a single room Bathroom facilities are shared with other students and members of the family No extra charge will be made for electricity but families can make a charge not existing Euro 5 for each washing load but normally families wash a reasonable amount of laundry without charging. You cannot use the kitchen or kitchen appliances without the consent of the family. No damage deposit is charged but anything broken will need to be paid for. No guests can be brought to the house unless there is an agreement with the family. The school reserves the right to remove students who are noisy or misbehaving. Clean bed linen is supplied once a week. Clean towels are supplied twice a week. Students should keep their room clean, but general cleaning is provided once a week. Cleaning of common areas depends on family
Prices
Accommodation in a host family on full board basis
- Shared room: eur40 +7% VAT per person per night
- Single room: eur60 +7% VAT per person per night
Accommodation in a host family on a half board basis
- Shared room: eur30 +7% VAT per person per night
- Single room: eur50 +7% VAT per person per night
Students staying in host families who have special dietary needs will incur an extra 10% charge for dietary requirements (vegetarian, vegan, halal, lactose, celiac, gluten and other similar requirements).
The sending organisation should inform the host organisation if students are allergic to pets or have any medical conditions that require special consideration at booking stage. The host organisation hast he right to refuse to host students for medical reasons if there is a risk to the health and safety of the student and/or persons living or working with the student.
Accommodation in a self catering residence
- Shared room: eur20 + 7% Vat per person per night (October – May)
- Single room: eur25 + 7% Vat per person per night (October – May)
Accommodation in Private residences (houses/apartment) is available on request and rates may vary depending on the period with higher rates for June - September.
