Tackle climate change head-on! This 5-day intensive course equips participants with practical strategies to mitigate, adapt, and respond to climate change at both local and global levels. Through interactive sessions, case studies, and hands-on projects, participants will gain the knowledge and tools needed to design impactful climate initiatives in their communities or organizations. 


Target Audience: Environmental professionals, policymakers, educators, community leaders, and anyone interested in climate change action and sustainability.

  • Fundamentals of climate science
  • Global trends and local impacts
  • Extreme weather, sea-level rise, and ecosystem changes

Day 2

  • Reducing greenhouse gas emissions
  • Renewable energy solutions
  • Carbon footprint analysis and offset strategies
  • Case studies of successful mitigation projects

Day 3

  • Assessing vulnerability and risk
  • Adaptation strategies for communities and businesses
  • Nature-based solutions and infrastructure planning

Day 4

  • International agreements (Paris Agreement, COP frameworks)
  • National and local policies
  • Tools for policy analysis and advocacy

Day 5

  • Designing impactful climate action projects
  • Stakeholder engagement and collaboration
  • Monitoring, evaluation, and reporting
  • Final Presentations:
