It aims to provide equal educational opportunities for all students, regardless of their abilities, background, or characteristics.
It is a 5 day programme including training sessions, presentation by expert speaker, group work and visits.
The program is aimed at teachers working in mainstream and special education schools who want to learn effective teaching and assessment methods, strategies, and tools for addressing the unique learning needs of students with special educational needs. The course emphasizes the promotion of inclusion and diversity in the classroom and covers a range of topics, including recognizing and identifying students’ special needs, designing differentiated activities to access the general curriculum, and using ICT tools to support all learners.
Teachers will also learn about the specifics of students with SEN, gifted students, and students with disabilities, and how to address the difficulties they face in mastering school materials. The program provides opportunities for teachers to exchange experiences with other educators from EU countries and analyze examples of the inclusion of children with SEN in different school systems. By the end of the program, teachers will have a greater understanding of teaching and learning in special, integration, and inclusion settings, as well as the barriers and resources needed to successfully address students' learning needs and promote inclusion and diversity in the school community.
